10th Anniversary Celebration - Friday 20 June 2008
The Fund's 10th anniversary event 'Celebrating Achievement' was held at Woodlands, Chorley on Friday 20 June 2008. The event featured a specially commissioned film, a presentation on ZeroCarbonBritain by Julie Bromilow, Education Officer, Centre for Alternative Technology. £1m of extra funding was presented to two projects who were the successful winners of the 10th anniversary challenge: Brockholes Nature Reserve, for the development of the reserves infrastructure and the provision of bird and badger hides and Halton Youth and Community Centre who are extending and developing their existing community facility.
