This year's Annual Event was held on Friday 16th September 2011 at the Lancashire Wildlife Trust's Brockholes Wetland Nature Reserve.

The day's programme included a guided tour around this innovative new nature reserve and the viewing of the Fund's two year film charting the development of the site  'From Blank Canvas to Brockholes'. 

Keynote speaker was Ben Osborne, wildlife photographer, who has worked on the BBC's Planet Earth and Life in the Freezer series with David Attenborough. 

The event was attended by current Fund project managers and associated guests.
