The Lancashire Environmental Fund are only the fourth Environmental Body (EB) in the UK to receive EB Certification from Entrust, the regulators of the Landfill Tax Credit Scheme. The certification acknowledges a high standard of professionalism, consistency and accountability.

Minister for Rural Affairs, Landscape and Biodiversity, Jim Knight, who presented the certification to the Fund congratulated them on “a great achievement”.

The Fund has supported over 450 projects since it started in 1998 totalling over £13m of funding for community and environmental projects across the county.

Andy Rowett, Fund Manager, said, “We have worked hard for this and are delighted that the Fund are only the fourth in the UK to reach such a high standard of operation”.
